I've created a library of custom commands for Fade In, like "new character " and "new slug " which will create elements with the appropriate name quickly. These commands can easily be adapted to Final Draft or MMS or any other screenwriting app that has hotkeys for the different screenplay elements. There is no Select-and-Say type functionality in Fade In, so you can't say "correct that" or things along those lines, but I use Knowbrainer which adds functions that will take care of that kind of thing. Seems like you've already resolve your issue, and I haven't tried Dragon with Final Draft, but wanted to chime in that Dragon NaturallySpeaking works reasonably well with Fade In, another popular screenwriting application.
